"It is with deep regret to inform you that I tender my resignation as PBEFI President to the PBEFI Board on 16 February 2009.

After careful consideration by the board it has been accepted and that our Constitution stipulates that the Vice President will take over as the New President.

Brod Reyvil, who has the respect of all the Betans from all corners and in all Tambayan has accepted the new assignment and I have full confidence that he will lead in fulfilling the dreams and vision of our Founding Brothers. 

PBEFI will continue to move on under the New Leadership and with your support and assistance I have no doubt we can achieve that vision and we will succeed.

The New PBEFI President Brod Reyvil is well- liked by all Betans but of all he loves the Betans.

I wish to thank all those who have shown their support during my tenure and most of all for those who are strong critics because I have understand that they also care for the Fraternity.

I just would like to exhort everyone to continue to support and sustain Brod Reyvil in his new assignment with the aim of common good  for the Fraternity.

These are trying times and our Fraternity has gone trough a lot of dificult times.

The decision was even more difficult for me.

I have to face my personal challenges and secure my future career first.

I just wish for your understanding."

After assuming office, Brod Reyvil immediately went to work. He paved the way for the uniting of the the two (2) Tambayans. Brod Reyvil Villanueva is one of the greatest Betans you can find. He is very loyal, loving and faithful to the fraternity. He will give his bed, food, a shirt on his back and more to another Betan in need. To prove it, ask those who visited him in Singapore. He is the one who would shout "I love Betans !!!" all day long if you let him.

As the years pass, it is time for the younger generations to take over. He is currently residing in Singapore and a member of our Asia-Pacific Betans Chapter.

Let us support Brod Reyvil to succeed in his presidency.
