Phi Beta Epsilon Fraternity International Projects 1. Betans House - A project to put up a Fraternity House that will serve as the Headquarters of the resident Betans. The facility will also serve as the boarding house where resident Betans will live. There will be a Library / Communications Center equipped with a computer with broadband internet connection, Vonage Phone system with the US area code to allow resident Betans to call US and Canada Betans and for USA and Canada Betans to call the Betans House. The center will be provided with Engineering books and software to expose resident members to the Real Engineering World. The Betans is hope to be the jump off point where the Betans Tambayan will link the cell phones of local resident Betans and advisers. 2. Books (BBB) - A program aimed to send boxes of books to Iloilo, Philippines to be given to Elementary Schools Libraries 3. Betans Scholarship - One of the main objectives of the Phi Beta Epsilon Fraternity International is to help deserving Engineering students who are members of the Phi Beta Epsilon fraternity finish their engineering studies. Following are the current recepients of the PBEFI Scholarship: a. Ronald Catequista - Full Scholar, Western Institute of Technology b. Joshua Navarro - Finacial Aid Recepient, University of San Agustin c. Julius Salazar - Financial Aid Recipient, Universiry of San Agustin 4. Guimaras Oil Spill Project - In a recent Oil spill in the Island of Guimaras, Phi Beta Epsilon Fraternity donated cash to help victims in their food and clothing needs.
